New lesson plan: possessive adjective and nouns + adjectives

In this lesson the student will be able to earn the skill of possession; being able to do that both with nouns and adjective

To provide clarification of possessive adjectives, and nouns + adjectives in the context of family, friends, and cars

To provide gist listening practice using a text about possession in the context of family members

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

showing them what I have in my bag, and then letting them do the same

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

listening and reading the first paragraph, and making them extract the yellow highlighted words (possessive).

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

clarifying all the mistakes and using realia to explain the topic, then making them listen and complete the listening task

Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

answering the book the based tasks on the topic; involving listening, vocabulary, and writing tasks.

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

the final task (freer) will be in pairs each two students will be speaking about their family members.
