Procedure (46-62 minutes)
the teacher will start the class by talking about the weekend and then i'll start to tell a simple story about my vacation and then i'll ask them about their vacation.
I'll ask my students some questions associated with past simple tense to make a small conversation.
then I'll write some of my students' sentences in the correct form on the white-board to draw their attention to the correct format of my TL.
After showing the grammar structure of a past tense sentence, then i will show the students a list with mostly irregular and some regular verbs and WC with the leading of the T, they will practice the pronunciation of the verbs. i will tell them every detail about past simple and teach the structure and by asking CCQ questions about the roll of the words and the way we can change the places to make question sentences , negative sentences and short answers.
the student will go to lesson 2A on page 15 and also page 152 to do the practices individually in 10 minutes. I will check the students answers by asking them what they did. If the free practice time is insufficient, this section will not be made and the students will be given a homework sheet about irregular verbs that they will need to bring to the class next time.
i will divide my students into groups of 2 persons to make a conversation about their yesterday.
This practice will be done by students creating their own sentences and asking other students what they did today. my TL is to use their past simple tenses.
