Description

In this grammar lesson, students will learn how to use the passive voice and causative sentences with the passive voice. They will also learn how to form a complete sentence using the passive voicein differente time sentences

Main Aims

  • Providing clarification and practice of the passive voice . Helping students to use the causative with the passive voice

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (7-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I'm going to ask students which newspapers or magazines they do they read and why.? also will show the grammar section of the book to see how the passive is form and use it as aguide line

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

T gives the students the meanings of some English expressions of the passive voive and the cuasative in passive

Highlighting (10-12 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Teacher shows the students a picture and asks them to describe it using the past simple in the passive voice and the cuasative s have to fill in the gaps set on the grammar section

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Teacher explains the students the meanings of some new words,their pronunciation and form given on the workbook and student book. stuedents must complete the excersises given

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Teacher makes sure that the students understand the meanings, pronunciation and form of the words through practice given by the workbook and students book

Free Practice (5-7 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Teacher asks the students to provide more free practice
