Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (4-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

All the Ss stand in the middle of the class. The toys are on the teacher's table. There is a chair, a box and a bag near the table. The teacher will say what Ss should do: e.g. Take a car and put in into the bag. One students should do what the teacher said. Then this student will say his own instruction and choose another student. And so on. The last student will say his instruction to the teacher.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

The teacher will read aloud the text about the toys and where they are in the room. Each student has the room handout. The Ss should draw toys and color them according to the text.

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

On the board there are pictures. The teacher ask the Ss: e.g. Where is the plane. The Ss should answer. Then Ss will work in pairs asking and answering about toys in the pictures. The teacher control the Ss.

Productive Task(s) (10-12 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

The Ss will work in pairs. In each pair there is an A student and a B studentEvery pair has the Find differences handout. The teacher will give an instruction: You need to find 5 differences. A-students should say where the object is in the left picture, B-students should say where the object is in the right picture. You have 10 minutes When the instruction is given the teacher will ask ICQs: 1. How many differences should you find? (5) 2. What picture do A-students use? (left) 3. How many time do you have? (10 minutes) The teacher will control when the Ss work. For fast-finishers there will be one more task: to write down all sentences.

Feedback and Error Correction (5-7 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

The teacher will give feedback to the Ss who have mistakes.
