Procedure (21-31 minutes)
I start the class by talking about the meaning of invention and give examples in terms of some of the best inventions that have revolutionized the world and made life easier for individuals.
I will ask my students to talk about the most famous inventions that changed our world and give examples of some famous inventors who invented something.
I will write some active sentences on the board. I can choose from my students sentences and if they made some wrong sentences I will write the correct active form on the board.
First of all i try to point out the active sentence that I wrote on the board and ask my learners some questions to check their knowledge about active voice ,after that i ask them what if I don’t want to mention the name of inventor? what should i do ? I will ask them for example what did that inventor invent ? (CCQ's) and other questions to form the passive sentence and express them the difference between active and passive sentences.and the importance of object in passive sentences and subject in active sentences.
The students are going to do exercise on page 145 Practice individually and then going to check in pairs.they will be given 2 minutes. The answers will be checked with the whole class at the end.
Students are given time (5minutes) to talk about the most influential inventions that have drastically changed our world, as well as some inventions that inventors might come up with? In the end, tell about the sentences they made with the new tense.
