Description

In this lesson, students will be able to spell the alphabet and create short words.

Materials

Abc Good morning song

Procedure

Opening (3-5 minutes) • At the end of the stage, the student will be with his mind ready and clear to learn.

Sing a good morning song

Exposure (2-4 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Question the students about: do you know the alphabet? Do you know all the letters?

Highlighting (3-5 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Write the vowels and consonants on the board and write the pronunciation of each one under each letter.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Play a song to review the pronunciation of the alphabet, the teacher will sing it 3 times with the students, then ask them to do it out loud on their own. Give an example to the students, writing a short word on the board and putting its pronunciation under each letter.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Write 5 short words on the board and with the help of the alphabet, the student will write the way each word is pronounced.

Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

Ask students to write their name and below it their pronunciation.

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Write the alphabet from top to bottom on the blackboard on the left side, on the right side write the pronunciation forms from top to bottom in a disorderly manner, the student must match the letter with its pronunciation.
