Main Aims

To provide fluency speaking practice in a Conversation in the context of Get to know you

Subsidiary Aims

To provide practice and clarification of Routines in the context of Morning Routines

Procedure (33-45 minutes)

Warm up: Get to know you (5-8 minutes) • introduce ss to topic by engaging with them with personal information questions

Start the class by asking personal information questions to the student. "where is she from?" and "Where does she live?". Then ss will answer and activity of '"filling the gap" related to the personal information.

Exposure speaking activity (5-6 minutes) • To provide ss with a topic to discuss "what's your favorite?"

Have conversation about the ss likes about specific topic on worksheet activity 2 what's your favorite?

Highlighting (2-3 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Introduce ss to new to target language by giving an introduction to morning routine. by answering two questions. What time do you usually get up? & what do you do when you get up?

Target/Controlled activity Vocabulary (8-10 minutes) • To produce with target language Morning Routines

Ss will complete the exercise on 1st day of class A2 pdf and also discuss what does the student do from that list. ss will answer target language liveworkssheet morning routine on their own.

Wrap up (5-8 minutes) • To concept check ss comprehension of lesson and practice

T-s will discuss wrap up question on PP presentation.

Extra activity Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • Extra activity where ss will be able to use target language and put it to more practice
