Procedure (47-60 minutes)
T writes 2 questions on the board and asks students to answer them. 1- What is the first thing you do when you wake up? 2- What does your mother tend to do first thing in the morning? T listens to students answers and gives content and error correction feedback.
T shows students the handout and asks them to choose the correct verb from the alternatives given. T monitors to check students understanding and give help where needed. T asks students to check their answers with their partners. T asks students to share their answers with the class.
T clarifies the rule with singular and plural. T clarifies what we do when we use conjunctions like or, but, and. T asks students to open their books to see the summary of the form of the target language. T asks CQs to ensure students understand the rule.
T asks students to answer the questions in their textbook. T monitors and offers help where needed. T asks students to check their answers with their partners. T shows students the correct answers. T provides error correction feedback.
