To provide review and practice of grammar in the form of simple present tense and the simple past tense with 'have to' in the context of the jobs and the expertise areas through speaking and listening.
Subsidiary Aims

To review and practice speaking after the listening exercise with specifically using in 'have to' grammar form.

Developing students' lexis about jobs.

To give students controlled and semi- controlled speaking practice.
Procedure (34-45 minutes)
Explaining to the students the aim of the class and what we will be doing through it. Also, making sure if the students remember things from the previous class.
Talking to students about the lesson and giving the handouts to the students for the following activities, making sure that they all have it. Starting from the exercise 7a - student's book, checking if the students are all aware of the form of the questions with the simple present and the past tense with 'have to', as well as their difference.
Through using the computer and the projector, I will introduce the students the grammar part and show them the differences between the simple present tense and the simple past tense and 'have to' with examples. They will be aware of the sentence structure and form of the grammar.
Through exercise 8b, on student's book HO, making sure if they surely understood the differences and the form of the grammar part, by giving the positive and the negative answers of the questions.
Through the exercise 9a, after the grammar introduction with the projection, I will ask the students put the words in order and make a meaningful questions in the form of 'have to' considering the tenses of the questions, differenciating whether they are in present or past tense form and write them down on their note -books.
After students write the questions on their note-books, they will listen to the recording, in order to get the answers of the questions with pair work. If the students cannot understand the recording after hearing the first time, the listening will be played one more time to provide good understanding.
Giving handouts to students from the Teacher's Book, from the page 143 - 'Guess the Job', and presenting them the new activity. The case is, they all have very interesting jobs and they are all going to a conference to meet other people.' Through the pair work, the students will try to guess each others' jobs through asking questions and fill in the blanks on teachers' book HO on page 143.
On teachers' book page 143. students have to make sure that they use the simple past and the simple present tense forms well and right in the form of 'have to' while they are making 'WH-' questions, as well as guessing the jobs right during the pair work. Through this activity, students get to practice their understanding of the target language and speaking skills more.
