Procedure (99-138 minutes)
Create groups of 3-4 ss. have of each team come to front. Ask them to write what they hear. The group that gets closer with at least 1-2 letter mistakes. I: get with your grupos. One come to front. Write what you hear, the team that misspells at least 2 letter win a point.
Class discussion--> Have you ever traveled on a ship? Have you ever gone sky diving? Have you ever driven a tractor? Then with your group, say what you have done and what you have not done
Display sentences and ask Ss to rewrite the sentnecnes in correct order I: On your notebooks rewrite the following sentences
Display 2 sentences and questions of each. Ask ss to identify which one talks about recent experiences and which one talks about life experiences Ask them to look at each, what do they have in common? Yet, ever, before, already and never. Take a look at yet and before where do they go in questions?
Ask Ss to answer exercise 5-7 mins Then check answer with the person next to them. 2-3 mins
Ask ss to write 5 sentences exercise C Walk around and listen to classmates add 2 you understoo completely and like the most. Share as a class standup when you hear a sentence you have in common and write the senteces on the board.
Play example video 2mins Ask them to fill in the gaps 4 mins Share/conversation with the person next to them 3 mins
Ask ss to take a look at hand vocabulary Ask ss to write the name of the fingers in their hands.
Ask Ss if they have ever had a misunderstanding in public? For example pointing at someone/waving hello at someone by mistake
Ask ss to skim 2mins What do you think the reading will be about? 2 mins Read along and listen 3 mins
Ask ss to answer exercice A 5 mins Then discuss questions in exercise B 5 mins
Discussion rread as a class Travel tips 5 mins Then ask ss to get in pairs and T will assign a tip then create notes 10 mins Walk around and find a group that has a different number/tip from yours and share 5 mins
