Students will be asked to discuss which of the factors presented are important to their holiday. This is to prepare students for the lesson and get them familiar with the topic.
Students will be asked to do a matching game (match the pictures to holiday related words). This it to guide students finding out the meaning of the words via pictures matching. then an open class feedback is conducted. After the feedback, the form and pronunciation of the words will be clarified.
Students will be asked to read a short text which contains TL. then they will be asked to identify where the extracts are from. This will help students identify how holidays are described differently in brochures and emails. This provides them with examples so they can use in the speaking stage. another exercise is presented after asking them to categorize those words. It will also prepare them for speaking of the good things and bad things about their holidays.
students will be conducted 2 to 3 rounds of speaking activities. first round, students will discuss their good/bad holidays. second round, students will tell their partners about their dream holiday. third round, if time permits, they will talk about their next holiday destination. open class feedback will be conducted after each round.
Open class feedback is conducted as a conclusion.
