Procedure (33-46 minutes)
I'm gonna start the class by telling my students that my sister is not a morning person. the TL is used in the sentences that i make.
in this stage im gonna ask my students to talk about the suggestions come to their mind to become a morning person. i want to use their sentences to highlight the TL.
i will write some of the correct sentences that students made by using the Modal verb should on the board to draw their attention to the TL.
i will elicit the meaning of the TL from the students using CCQs to clarify when to use this modal verb. after that we work on the form. the intonation will be focused on as well.
the students are going to do the exercise on the page 141 individually and then going to check in pairs. the answers are going to be checked with the students at the end.
the students will have a conversation and give suggestions about how a person can use her time better and do all of her daily duties and responsibilities. feedback will be given if needed.
