In this lesson students will learn about present continues base on describing activities about sports. The lesson starts with a conversation with new vocabularies. Then it continues with the structure of the new grammar. Designed based on ESA.

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-10 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Show them the Picture of unit 5 / Ask Q 1 / Give them 1 min to talk about Q2 with a partner. //

Exposure Vocabulary (10-20 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading

Model by realia ( water, two glasses ) // "I'm drinking." , "You're drinking." , "What's she / he doing ?" , "Is she/He drinking?" // Writing new words on the WB. // Show them pictures and Ask them to repeat. // Ask them to practice the conversation with a partner. // Do exercises A,B individually. // Vocab Activity ( Describe and Guess )

Exposure the target (15-25 minutes) • To provide a model of the grammar and its structure

Showing pictures of some ppl at a party // Asking questions " Tell me some verbs about this picture " , " What is he doing ? , "Is she dancing?" , "What are they doing?" , " Are they talking?" // put the picture away and ask more Qs , "What are we / you doing ?" // Write 3 Forms of the grammar on the WB. // Ask the difference between " What do you do? " & " Whag are you doing? " // Write pronouns and the structure. // Ask them to make sentences with a verb randomly in 3 forms. // Finish it with a question. " Imagine you are in your favorite place , what are you doing now? Describe. //

Productive Task(s) (20-35 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Mime activity ( Show an act , Your Partner should guess what you are doing. ) // Ask and Answer about the picture. //
