To provide review and practice of personal possessions and classroom objects. in the context of saying where things are.

To provide practice of language used for saying where things are in the context of describing the classroom.
Procedure (31-39 minutes)
The teacher shows the students pictures of the words: (table - tree - box - TV - newspaper ....). The teacher elicits the words while chesting the pictures.
The teacher shows more pictures that illustrate prepositions of place. The teacher models the pronunciation and the students repeat. The teacher gradually models the form and the students repeat. Then the teacher shows more pictures and asks the students to form sentences. the teacher shows prompts and the students form new sentences. The teacher elicit the the word sequence and writes the rule on the board.
The teacher divides the class into two groups. Each group is given five sets of cards to form five sentences on the board. The group that forms more correct sentences win. The teacher sets 4 minutes as a time limit. the teacher demonstrates.
The teacher asks the students to do exercise 3 making sentences with prepositions of place. Ask the students to check with their partners. Provide answer key and monitor for errors.
The teacher asks the students to look for any object in the classroom that is tagged with a number and write a sentence to describe it. After they finish, the teacher provides an answer key and asks the students to check their answers.
The asks every student to write a sentence at the top of an A4 sheet and gives it to the person next to them. Every student then draws a picture of what they understand from the sentence. Sheets are returned back to the original student and they work in pairs to discuss if the picture is right or not. The teacher monitors.
