Procedure (51-73 minutes)
Students read the questions "When was the last time you went to an airport? Was it to travel somewhere or to pick up or drop off somewhere? " and work in pairs to share their opinion.
Students look at the 12 signs and and match them to the words and phrases. Then, they need to compare their answers in pairs.
Students read the text on the topic "No more boring stopovers - go on guided tour!". Students read the text and think about missing pharese and predict their meaning.
Students read the text again and complete the text with missing phrases A-H. Students read the text individually and check their answers in group of three.
Excercise C, students look at the words and phrases taken from them and explain their meaning one by one to the partner.
Students read sentences task E and predict the content of the speech.
Students listen to the conversation and complete the gaps with a form of be going to + verb.
Students do True and False activity while listening to the audio. Then, they need to check their answers in pairs.
Students need to answer to the question "Have you ever had a long stopover at an airport? Where were you? What did you do?" regarding to the text and interview each other.
Students go to the page 130 and read the grammar 3A Going to. Then after warking with a white board by writing examples. They need to do excercises A and B. They check thei answers in pairs.
Students make up dialogues, where one student is a Tripaside's worker, who plans trips and journeys, one is a customer. They need to use Jake's coversation as an example and make their own with their partner.
