Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The teacher will present a short version of the story "The Tortoise and the Hare" in order to intoduce objective vocabulary which is "very", "too", "really" and "quite".

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Teacher will present a text that includes the objective vocabulary in Google forms and student will read it, get the gist and answer the questions.

Highlighting (6-8 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Students will work in a Google jamboard with the same text. Students will find and highlight the objective vocabulary (modifier+adjective) all across the text with red rectangles.

Clarification (6-7 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

On the same Jamboard Teacher will explain the use of these modifiers, their correct position and cover pronunciation.

Free practice (8-10 minutes) • To let students experiment and apply what they have learned. To verify students understanding.

Students will describe the place where they live.They will write up to 4 sentences using the whole structure. and then read their examples to the class.
