Procedure (33-45 minutes)
T. will project Jamboard with the question "What are your plans today? Do you have any chores to do? Are you going anywhere?" T gives demo first and Puts Ss in Breakout rooms (PW 2 min) ICQ: How long do you have for the task T nominates Ss to share answers and writes them on sticky notes
T. lets SS. know that they will read a short text. T. shares screen and shares link in chat. T. gives instructions: Ss. need to read the text for the overall idea and answer the question “what are they talking about” (1 min) T asks ICQs: - Are you reading for details or the overall idea? T then instructs SS to discuss their answers in pairs (1 min.). T nominates some Ss. to share their answers with the whole class
T. will have Ss go to next section in google forms document. T. will instruct students to mark all the sentences from the text that are the verb collocations go, take, get and do. T will do a demo with Ss to ensure understanding and then send students into breakout rooms (2 min PW) - ICQ are we marking one box or all the boxes that apply? T will go over answers with group by nominating Ss to each give one answer.
T. will share screen with google docs, and share link in the chat Meaning: T. will have Ss match the sentence with its definition (PW) Form: T will have Ss match the sentence with its form (PW) ex: verb + preposition + noun Pronunciation: T will have Ss repeat each sentence after her. T will ask Ss to identify the stress in the sentence. T will mark points of stress
I will ask Ss to complete a fill in the blank form (Individual work 3 min) T. will give demo with first question ICQ: are you working in pairs or individually? How many minutes do you have to complete the task? I will have Ss compare their answers in breakout rooms(PW 2 min). T. will monitor breakout rooms T will show an answer key with 2 incorrect answers, T nominate students to identify which answers are incorrect.

Where do you go? Do you take the train? T will give demo Question/answer first. ICQ: Is one person asking the questions or are you taking turns? T. will monitor while Ss are in breakout rooms
