Ageing, used to
Pre-intermediate level

Description

In this lesson, students learn about used to through guided discovery based on reading 3 different texts about elderly people's hobbies. The lesson starts with a discussion about three topics of the texts, and students need to find common things in them. This is followed by a reading activity, where students match titles with texts in pairs. Students do different post-reading activities, such as true and false, Q&A and discussion activities. Finally, there is some controlled practice through sentence reformulation and free practice via final poster making activity.
