The students will be informed about the meaning of the following vocabularies used in the text by trying to match the meaning of the words with the vocabularies individually. They will check their answers in pairs and then with the whole class. apologize - reserve - navigate - inconsiderate - brag
The students will listen to track and try to answer the following questions: What was their problem when they first met? How have they managed to solve their differences about manners? The answers will be checked with whole class. Students will need to support their ideas if they come up with different answers.
Students will be asked to read the questions on page 41 part b and then the audio file will be played again. The students need to mark the sentences True or False. They will have 2 minutes to check their answers in pairs then we will check the answers with the whole class. Students will need to say why they have marked each sentence True or False and they will need to support their ideas if they come up with different answers.
Students will be asked to talk to each other in groups of 3 or 4 about what are some of the common manners in relationships in their country and what people from their country would do in these situations.
