To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation about describing people in the context of friends

To provide accuracy speaking practice in a conversation and how to read accurately in the context of friends

Warmer/Lead-in do you ... game (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

i write some word out of the passage and students must ask their partner . e.g. do you speak chinese? ICQ:what should we do? who sould we ask?

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

to read the speaking and model the girls sound CCQ: what magazine is it? does Christina know about the band?

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

they have 5 minutes to read it alone and highlight new words

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

i ask 2 students to read as the girls speaks in conversation

Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

at this time i write their errors and use the correct form by whole class correction
