Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will show SS a slide with two images and one question to get into the context of the grammar lesson. *What do you wish you had done more of when you were younger? I will request to some Ss ask me the question, and I will answer it as a Demo. I will Send them out to BRs if there are more than 4 Ss, otherwise I will ask them to take it turns and talk about the question.

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

I will send to Ss a google forms with fill in the blanks for three sentences with the target language. I will explain to Ss have to choose the correct form to complete the idea of the sentences and also think about possible contracted forms. I will do the first one with them for a Demo. In teams in BRs They then come back to see the forms with the answers to correct for themselves and check the contractions.

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

With the google form exercise I will explain to Ss The Meaning, form and I pronunctiation.

Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

I will ask to Ss to think about the question that I use at the beginning of the lesson. What do you wish you had done more of when you were younger? They have to write two things that wish have done, and be ready to use the contracted forms. When they finish, I will give them the instruction to share with their partners the first of the two sentences and the peers will ask some follow up questions I will give then an example... Demo I wish I had bought bitcoins when I was younger. and someone can ask * Why didn't you buy them? and ask each other. that will be a free practice.
