Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I enter the class and ask them how they are doing. I then call the roll and ask those who haven't sent their homework ,why? then I talk about my daily life, I tell them how chaotic my life is and etc. I talk about my routines

S2 (4-7 minutes) • to elicit vocabulary

I ask them what they can see in the picture, I elicit some words by acting some actions. I put them in pairs and ask them to talk about the picture

S3 (4-5 minutes)

I put TBP1 on my chest and explain the procedure no icq is needed

S4 clarification on meaning (5-6 minutes) • to clarify the diiference between present simple and present progressive

remember I told you last session that i play violin? am I doing it now? Is Ahmadreza a guitarist? is he playing guitar now? when I say I go to the gym which one is it? am I at gym now? for routines, what is the first thing you do after you wake up?

S5 (5 minutes)

I talk on the slides, I use the board I tell them some adverbs showing present simple and present progressive

S6 (10-12 minutes) • clarification on form

I clarfiy the form using the board. I put the handout on my chest then give them instructions. I monitor them while doing the task. after 5 minutes we will check the As.

s7 (8-10 minutes) • clarification on pronunciation

I give them time to do the task and then we will have some drills. I go to school they we he he goes to school she Asghar soghra I wash my hands Akbar washes his hands kobra

S8 (5-7 minutes)

I elicit the difference between stative and action verbs I do some actions and then say something stative. I ask them their opinion about mental states and the rest

s 9 (8-9 minutes)

you are going to work on this part use the verbs here some of them are negative some of them are positive Are you going to use the verbs you know or. these verbs? are all of them positive? what do we use for negative forms? then I play the audio file and check it

s 10 (14-16 minutes)

I put them in groups I try to use different groups you are going to play a game, you should use the game دور you should describe something using words, but you cant use the exact words its like pantomime. your partner should stick the tense name for the right function I give students A the functions and ask them to write an example and their group names I give students b and ask them to write down their group names after they finished, Ss a will act and the game starts

S 11 (10-11 minutes)

I give them instruction and ask them to complete the exercise. then I use peer check then we check it by the help of audiofile at the end of the session I explain their homework
