Afterwards, T will share screen and show pictures of each option, giving instructions for level1 and 2/3, telling them what to do. T will divide in BOR the Ss that want to work with level 1, and Ss that want to work with level 2/3. Two T will be in each BOR and model the activity so Ss can succesfully answer it. This activity will be done small groups. If they get it right ss choose how they want to celebrate their victory (dancing, clapping, virtual high five, fist bump). Renné: Ask Renné if she needs help, encourage a classmate to help her if needed.
T will show a stuff animal (alebrije-like creature) and model how an alebrije is. S create their alebrije following some examples on what it has to have.(drawing on notebook, paint, etc.- give options). If any S finishes early, S will raise their hands to tell the T they are done drawing. T will be presenting animals on screen for students to get inspiration. Renné: She will be able to choose fewer animals to create her alebrije.
T encourages Ss to share their work (alebrije) one by one to the rest of the class by raising their hand, telling 3 things they would like to share the most about their alebrije. After presenting, T praise their effort and ask Ss how they want to be rewarded (dancing, clapping, virtual high five, fist bump). Renné: She can act her alebrije in case she doesn't want to say it.
T will tell ss they will play Simon Says. T will model and ask students to act like two different animals. Ss that didn't paticipate in the warmer will be the first ones to participate in this activity. E.g. Simon says act like a monkey and roar like a lion. Renné: Movement is encouraged. T will reward ss for participating and specially Renné.
