Money, should-shouldn't
Elementary level
Description
In this lesson, students learn about the modal verb should through guided discovery in the context of money. First, the lesson starts with a personalized introduction to get students to give advice on a subject. Then, they will complete the questions on a handout about the meaning, function and form of should. Next, there is a controlled practice, followed by a less-controlled task. Finally, there is a freer speaking practice, leading to a communicative task in which students come up with advice.
