Procedure

Begin by discussing the importance of effective writing and how being able to describe past events using the past simple tense is a valuable skill. Share the objective of the lesson: to write an essay about their last holiday using the past simple tense.

Useful Language (12-12 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks (vocabulary and grammar)

Vocabulary Review (10 minutes): Show visual aids (pictures, postcards, or brochures) related to holidays. Discuss holiday-related vocabulary with the students and ensure they understand key terms.
