Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Ss will recall Days of the week using an Addams family version of the Days of the Week Song

Activity (15-20 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

Ss, together with the T, will produce a panel with days of the week to hang on the wall. On clips, Ss will write "yesterday", "today", "tomorrow". The aim of the panel is to remember the days but, most of all, to become familiar with the concept of yesterday, tomorrow, today.

Receptive and productive tasks (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target receptive and productive skills

Ss will look at the story at page 9 of Little Bridge 2. The T will ask Ss to describe what they see. After that, Ss will be exposed to a listening from the book.

Warmer 2nd Hour (8-10 minutes) • To engage students and set the context

Teacher will start showing a pic of a house. The house is the T's house (fake). The T wil try to elicit the question "Where do you live?".

Productive skills (5-10 minutes) • To provide a chance for the ss to practise the TL

In couples Ss will ask each other where do they live. The T will give the moel n the board: "Where do you live?" "i live in ..."

Receptive skills (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target receptive skills

Ss will listen at the dialogues between the carachters at page 10 and match the correct answers.

Activity (12-15 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target receptive skills

In pairs, Ss are asked to find out the owner of the houses in the pics starting from the description in the text.
