Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will discuss a question related to the context.do you get irritated if you sit for an hour without doing anything waiting for someone or doctor e.g.

Pre-Reading/Listening (4-6 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

I pre teach blocking word through some pictures.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (4-8 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

I set a gist task, students should read in 3 minutes and answer some questions, after that we will check in pairs.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (5-9 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

I set a detailed task, it takes them to read it about 8 minutes or longer, they should answer deeper question, then we will check it on monitor to clear up any confusion.

Post-Reading/Listening (4-7 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

they should talk in groups which of the time-wasting activity annoys them most and why.
