Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will show to my Ss a image about the topic and also I'll ask them about : Advantages and Disadvantages of Digital Technology The idea is get the context of the lesson with a short discussion

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

I Design a gist task with two images and a simple question that exposes learners to the TL I will ask to the Ss this: Do you believe that human beings lived better in prehistoric or in the postmodern era? Conduct OCFB.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

I will show to the Ss, 12 prefixes with images, to guess what is the meaning of each one. pro- anti- pre- post- under- over- multi- re- mis- ex self- non-

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

I will show to the Ss, 12 prefixes with images, to guess what is the meaning of each one, I will practice the, Form, and pronunciation of the TL. pro- anti- pre- post- under- over- multi- re- mis- ex self- non-

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

I will give to Ss a google forms with 10 word, the Ss have to choose which prefixes can use  with these words? Sometimes there is more  than one possible answer . The learners do this individually and then check in pairs (via BORs). 1) discipline * 2)government * 3) cultural * 4)millionaire * 5)build * 6)decorate * 7)calculate * 8)defence * 9)rated * 10) stop * OCFB and answer key

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

I Create a communicative task for learners to use the language fluently, I will separate the SS in two groups the A and B, and I will give them two different exercises using prefixes, they will do this individually. Later they will Work with their partners. Take turns to ask and answer the questions. Ask follow-up questions if possible. I will use breakout rooms Later Conduct feedback on the task. And Delayed Error Correction (DEC).
