Main Aims

Ls will be able to understand and use the following lexical items related to describing types of story (moving, unrealistic, moral, happy ending, slow, complicated, scary, clever, imaginative).
Subsidiary Aims

To provide fluency speaking practice in a role play in the context of describing type of story.
Procedure (37-50 minutes)
1-greet students 2-divide them into 2 groups 3-set the instructions of the game: match the pictures from the PPT (more related to our culture than the one in the book) to 1 category 4-play the game and drill along the hard words 5- announce the winning team 6-let each team discuss what they like and dislike from the previous categories. 7-Content feedback
1-set instructions to answer Ex 2a (he diagnostic test): which are positive/negative or either? 2-demo? 3-hand them the HO 4-monitor to notice which lexis are the students familiar with and which aren't 5-set the second task: what type of story would fit each statement in the previous exercise (2a)? 6-monitor to notice which lexis are the students familiar with and which aren't 7-Pair check

1-set the instructions for ex 1 page 75 WB: you will find all over the class people describing movies each with 1 missing word , take a paper and write the missing word. 2- pair check, AK
1-set the instruction for the speaking activity: we are going to do as the people we read about in the previous exercise 2- In pairs prepare a TV interview describing your fav movie using the words we took 3-2 minutes to prepare 4-speaking time, teacher monitors, elevates their language, takes notes for feedback 5-content and linguistic feedback
1-a guessing game 2-write a name of a movie in your paper 3-describe it to the class 4-your fellows try to guess, the one who gets it right has the chance to describe his movie
