Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will ask my students to discuss the following two questions. 1. Do you like art? If so, do you prefer traditional or modern art? Why? 2. Look at picture B. Do they have performance artists like this in the streets of your town/city? If so, what kinds of things do people do? Are they popular?

Pre-Reading/Listening (6-8 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

I will ask students to read following sentences and answer the questions that follow them. 1. I will ask Ss to listen to an audio quickly and answer the next questions. I will give my Ss an example with the first question. and then, I will play the audio once. Listen to two friends, Graham and Hannah, talking about art. Which of the art in pictures A-C did each person see? Who doesn't like modern art?

While-Reading/Listening #2 (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

I will ask my Ss to listen to the audio again, b Listen again. Then work in pairs. How much can you remember? Use these prompts to help you.
