This part of the lesson will focus upon the usage of the most common frequency adverbs, and will provide a model of production for the forthcoming speaking and listening tasks. Students will also be exposed to the precise requirements of each task , with specific attention paid to the 'peer feedback/correction component.
This part of the lesson will focus upon adverbs of frequency, how to use sequencing words effectively and cohesively and the importance of aiming to gain a degree of 'fluency' when speaking. Peer Feedback will also be clearly explained.
This part of the lesson will take the form of 3 activities. Firstly, concluding an exercise from Friday 8th September. Secondly, students asking each other about their daily routine, replying to questions using the ' present simple' and frequency adverbs. Finally, students will provide feedback to their peer using prepared feedback questions which are detailed in their Student book.
ICQ's will be asked prior to students undertaking speaking activities and I will circulate the classroom to ensure students are completing all tasks as described. Today I will be focusing on production and use of language. Students will be self correcting and providing feedback on their peers work in the lesson.
