Procedure (16-26 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
showing a picture of an Egyptian movie with the actors playing tennis. Ask students about their favorite sport and why?
Exposure (3-5 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading
set the context then ask them before reading What did they do at 10.30? they were playing tennis
Useful Language (3-5 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks
highlight the meaning form pronunciation. meaning through ccqs and form let the ss say it pronunciation through drilling . after that ask them to make one example
test (2-4 minutes) • test the students knowledge
showing the ss pictures ask them to match the word with the picture
teach (3-5 minutes) • teach the new vocabulary
MFP through examples ccqs and drilling
Feedback and Error Correction (3-4 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language
