pre-teaching vocabulary ( recycling - recycling containers - environment) listening to the text and answering gist questions.
listening again to the text and matching parts of the sentences to elicit different quantifiers meaning.
using marker sentences from the previous exercise to illustrate: is the phrase used for negative of positive form of can be used for either? does the phrase indicates a large amount of a small amount? is it used for countable of non countable of either? then showing a comparison chart to simplify the idea.
using specific element of the sentence they will create two sentences including quantifiers. one sentence will be in a negative form and another in the positive form. they will share ideas in groups and they will be monitored and corrected.
I will show them a picture of a messy public garden. Now I will divide then into groups to come up with a name for the park and ideas for planning an awareness day for recycling and protecting environment. They will be monitored, notes will be taken and after they finish we can discuss ideas and give them some language feedback.
