Procedure (26-40 minutes)
Students will be instructed to look at three pictures and answer two questions about them in groups. Once they have finished they will return to the teacher to share their opinion
Form: Students will be shown different examples of comparatives and superlatives and later, through a series of questions will be instructed to choose the function and the meaning of the adjectives through a Google form with multiple-choice options. Meaning: Students will be instructed to observe a list that shows the different structures that comparatives and superlatives have and then will be instructed to place the correct structure examples in the list. For this task, students will work in groups and then receive feedback from the teacher Pronunciation: Students will listen to the teacher pronounce different sentences in order to detect the stress and intonation of specific words. After this, the teacher will ask students to repeat the sentence and to identify where the stress is.
Students will be invited to practice what they have seen so far by working on google slides and completing different sentences with comparatives and superlatives. For this task, they will work individually and then return to the teacher to share opinions and receive feedback.
Students will be asked questions about the topic (colors) and target language (comparatives and superlatives) to socialize them with their peers.
Students will be instructed to listen to an audio that will introduce them to the target language. After this, they will have to fill in the blank space in different sentences with comparatives and superlatives. For this task they will work in groups and then will return to the whole class to share their answers and receive feedback.
