Warmer/Lead-in (2-3 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

In this stage, I will tell the students a fairy tale" The Fisherman and his Wife". I will put all grammar points through the story, but I want them to get the story first, so later, when they are absorbed in the story, it will be easier to help them understand the grammar and the structure. I will try to tell the story in way which is interesting and easy for the students to get connected with.

Exposure (4-5 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

In this stage, I will ask the students a question about what they would wish if a genie granted one of their biggest dreams. Then, I let them share their ideas with the whole class, so everyone will have time to try to use the grammar and the structure even if it is hard for them yet to form a complete sentence.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

In this stage, I need the board to write some of sentences made by my the students. I will correct their mistakes on the board if the structures and not correct.

Clarification (8-9 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

In this stage, it is time to go through the grammar and the structure. I will go back to the fairy tale, and I will write the highlighted sentences which are directly related to the lesson on the board. I will start with the simple examples to help the students understand the whole point of the lesson, and when I'm sure everyone has already set the basics, I will cover the tricky part of the grammar by using the examples of the story.

Controlled Practice (0-1 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

After covering all points and focusing on all the highlighted examples, we can start to focus on the book's exercises. I will ask the students to do the grammar exercises on pages 70 and 71 themselves, and then, I will ask them to check the answers with each other. I will put them in different groups and give them enough time to check everything thoroughly. when the time is over, it is time to check the answers with the whole class to correct whether there is any problems or misunderstanding.

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

In the last stage, I will give the students some worksheet which have related questions about the lesson, so they can work on them together.
