Main Aims

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of feelings and emotions

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

This is a Lead-in activity to activate the class at the start of the session and engage Ss attention in the topic of the lesson which is emotion . Teacher will say some words and the students should do the action like : turn around clap your hands Hands up stand up sit down Students will do all the actions so it makes a student's to be ready for the lesson After that the Ss will watch the video that it's sing a song' if you're happy ' sing a song with the video and clap their hands with 'puppet'

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

I will show the HO to the students and teach the feelings like happy tired and after that I will play short video which includes pictures of difference emotions and feelings and I will give this students some faces that they need to match with the video.

Clarification and Highlighting (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

as a task to focus their attention on the target language and follow the M.P.F order in my vocabulary lesson I go through the conversation and I want to use some puppet . I do the conversation with the puppet. I ask my students to do the conversation with that puppet. Meanwhile I will correct the students . I will show them the faces to understand clear about the feelings and emotions.

Controlled Practice (10-13 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for a freer practice

I will show the Ss a video they see it one time and after that they need to answer the question in group that I wrote on the WB. Show me the faces that I draw on the board sad happy angry hungry or etc

Game-like Activity (8-10 minutes) • to give students opportunity to remember and review the target language

For free practice we should have the game that the rules of game are Ss and T make a circle. when the teacher says make a happy face or angry or sad and all the students should do that happy face around the circle like teacher.
