Procedure (29-39 minutes)
show them some pictures and they try to pick up the difference between each two pictures. (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
1- show them the pictures. 2- they try to elicit the differences.
Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation
1- Ask them about their friends and what they like and didn't like to eat. 2- Ask them individually what his or their friend like to play.
Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
1- Write some examples on the board. 2-write the rule of the reported speech.
Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
1-Answer the exercises from the book. 2- Give them some extra sheets to solve them in groups.
Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
1-SHOW the students PPP with some exercises and ask them to solve them in groups
