Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T show the Ss a video about someone spilling coffee on a laptop T asks the Ss to check in pairs if something like that happened to them T conducts content feedback T sets the context

Pre-Listening (3-5 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

T asks Ss to tick the gadget that they own from the box. T makes the Ss check in pairs T conducts content feedback

While listening for gist (5-7 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

T makes the Ss listen to the audio and guess what each person talking about. T makes the Ss check in pairs. T conduct content feedback.

While-Listening for details (5-7 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

T makes the Ss listen and order the sentences. T makes the Ss check in pairs T conduct the content feedback

Post-Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

T makes Ss choose four gadgets from exercise 1 and their descriptions from exercise 3 After they finish T divide them in pairs and they try to guess the gadgets from the verbs T conducts content and language feedback
