Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T shows the ss a picture for their first day at the internship T asks the ss what do you see in this picture ? do you still remember this day? T asks the ss to discuss the questions in the pairs.

Exposure(preparation) (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

T asks the ss to read this list of some sentences. T asks the ss to listen to an audio. T asks the ss to listen again to some people speaking about their first and last thing they did.

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

T asks the ss to listen again to the audio and tick the phrases they hear in the useful box .

Productive Task(s) (speaking task) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills
