  • • by the end of the lesson, student will have been better able to use some vocabulary it talks about shops and services

  • • To provide the student with the opportunity to practice speaking for fluency to talk about shops and services

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T shows ss pictures for soka . T starts asking ss some Q related to her like Do you love here? what about her haircut ? what about her clothes? then T gives some Q as a lead in 1- what's your favorite clothes shop in your country ? 2- T monitors and provides ss with help if needed. T gives ss content feedback. T sets the context by telling ss we are going to read an article about these people and asks ss if they know them or not.

Exposure (5-8 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

T asks ss to watch a video to order things in the box before watching a video read the phrases 1-Give instruction ; - work alone -order words 2-ICQ then T asks ss to read the Q and watch the video again 1-Give instruction ; - work alone -answer the Q 2-ICQ T asks ss to check in pairs T gives ss the answer key

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

T shows a situation in a clothes shop and hairdresser’s T starts eliciting the situation and follow MPF to explain some phrase at hairdresser’s: How can I help you ? I’d like a haircut, please. Do you have an appointment? How would you like your haircut? Not short / not long Would you like me to dye it ? Do you want a wash ? Yes, please / no, thanks How much do I owe you ? It’s 40 pounds at clothes shop: How can I help you ? i am looking for a dress which color do you want ? what's your size? I want it in a medium size / large / small would you try in on ? it suits me / fits me How much is it ?

Productive Task(s) (15-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

T asks ss to prepare a conversation by using this phrases 1-Give instruction ; - work alone -you have 5 minutes - use this words and you can add extra 2-ICQ T monitors and provides ss with help if needed then T divides the class into 2 groups one of them will be in a clothes shop ( one will act like a customer and the second will be a shop assistant ) the other group will be in a hairdresser’s ( one will act like a customer and the second will be a hairdresser ) T monitors and provides ss with help if needed T asks ss to come and present and make the other student to rate them .

Feedback and Error Correction (3-5 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

-T starts the content feedback. -T praises ss and gives good use of the language they picked. -T writes some of the ss mistakes on the board and elicits how they should rectify them
