Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

At first I am going to talk about myself. I want to explain that how my brother always takes my stuff without my permission then I will ask students this question. Are your siblings as same as MINE? I want them to explain if they have any experience.

Highlighting (3-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

I will write I/You/he/she/It/We/You/They on the board and I will draw an apple beside them then I will write |It is my apple| |it is Mine|. I will do the same for all the subjects.

Clarification (3-4 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

I will give more examples for example I will make examples with stuffs in the class I will show one of the students bag and I will say This is her bag so It is HERS!

Controlled Practice (4-5 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Now I want students to go on page 141 and do part 8C part A. after that we will check that in the class one by one.

Free Practice (5-8 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

I will put my students in groups of two and I want them to show their stuff to each other and make sentences with that.
