Procedure (29-39 minutes)
At the first I will write some active sentences on the board and will tell their structures. I am going to remark subject in active sentences. Edison invented lamp in 1875. My mom cleans our house. Children broke window. I will say in these sentences focus are on subjects
I will change the previous sentences to passive form and add subject end of the sentences by(by).and tell Ss why we use passive When we should use am,is ,are And when we should use was and were
I'm going to ask my students tell me an example. I will choose one of them and write on the board .change it to question form and negative from . meaning:I will draw a time line and ask students that this sentence is about past or present . form: object+to be+verb(pp)
