Students will talk about their holidays

I will tell them to read a story in the book (10-12 minutes) • To make students identify sentences in the past

Students will read the story scilently

I will ask students to extract the sentences in the past (10-12 minutes) • To make students notice verbs in the past

Students will read and extract verbs in the past

In this stage I will show them the structure of the tense (14-16 minutes) • To help students learn how to make sentences in the past

Students will apply the rule they have learned

In this stage I will give students exercise to apply what they have learned (8-10 minutes) • To be sure that they got the structure

Students will answer the exercise and I will check answers
