To provide clarification and practice of Vocabulary related to life changes in the context of Future wishes

To provide fluency speaking practice in a Conversation in the context of Future wishes

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T demonstrates a video and asks SS to think of the name of the video. T asks if SS think that "life changes" is a suitable name for the video.

Test #1 (4-6 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

SS in pairs match the words with the pictures. WCFB - check answers.

Teach (6-9 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

T explains MFP for the following vocabulary items: - be famous; - fall in love; - be lucky; - move house; - meet somebody new.

Test #2 (5-7 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

Students complete the gaps in the collocations. SS complete the gaps in the sentences.

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

SS in pairs agree or disagree with the statements from the previous task. SS guess what their partners would like to do in the future.
