Procedure (45 minutes)
The teacher talks about her house. She says she likes her house and explains why. She later asks students to talk to their pair, explain if they like their house or not and why.
The teacher shows students the images of different parts of a house. She elicits the words from the students. She drills the words and asks concept check questions as well.
The teacher gives out a worksheet to students. She asks students to work in pair and fill in the missing letters. The teacher asks students to write the answers on the board.
The students answer the multiple-choice questions in pairs.
The students are given a picture of a house. In the first task, they answer the questions about the house with their pairs and make notes. In the second task, they try to describe the house with their partner and make notes.
The students are asked to describe their houses and tell their favorite place at their houses. They talk to their partner and share their opinions. The teacher asks the students what they remember their partner said.
