Procedure (39-48 minutes)
On the whiteboard, I will stick some printed coloured vague pictures and ask students to describe them. these pictures and colours and hard to describe to emphasise the idea of the (unclear) things and how to explain things. I'll ask students to work in pairs to describe the given pictures
I will play the audio and ask my students to listen and answer the questions in Ho1. it's a gist listening task, they will listen and match. I will ask them to check their answers in pairs before displaying the feedback on the PowerPoint. then I'll ask them to tell the similarities and differences between the items and the (piano and mbira, chest of drawers and tall boy, and string bag and bilum)
I'll hight the useful language that's written in bold letters and discuss its usage I'll put the students in groups and ask them to match the phrases with their meanings. I'll ask them how they knew the answers. then I'll drill the TL .
I will give students some pictures and ask them to write about it as if they forgot its name. I'll ask them to work individually first then I'll put them in pairs and swap the roles. another practice, I'll let them think about something interesting, and ask them to write its description using the target language. we will sit in a circle and try to guess the answers.
After each activity, I'll do the content and language feedback on the board and correct the mistakes as delayed error correction after taking notes while doing the activity.
