Meaning Provide students G-Jamboard link. Ask students to match the stickers with the pictures. Check answers with students, and correct them if necessary. Ask students to quickly think of a sentence with the word they just learned. Form Ask students to put the stickers in the sentences they belong. Check for mistakes and encourage students to reflect on the part of the sentence the new words are being used (direct object) Pronunciation Ask students to divide the words into syllables and classify them according to the stress of the syllable. Use a recording of the words to drill with the students.
Provide students with the link to G-Jamboard and divide the class in two. Ask half the students to read "The human computer" and the other half to "The human camera". Allow 3 minutes for the students to read. Remind students that this is a quick reading. Then form pairs, and ask the student to move the stickers to the column that fits the best for what they read. Check their answers.
Show students the G-form that corresponds to their first reading. Ask students to read carefully the text and answer the questions below. Give 6 or 7 minutes. Ideally, check their answers in a breakout room. If not enough students join the lesson, ask students to comment only on the wrong answers.
In pairs, ask students to share what their reading was about. Ask them to use the questions in the Jamboard as a guide. Allow 5 minutes for discussion. If time allows, ask students which one of the extraordinary abilities they would like to have and why Correct mistakes as needed.
