Main Aims

To provide practice of the comparative adjectives in the context of choosing between a tablet or a smartphone to buy.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide fluency through a conversation around the differences between an old version of a smartphone and a new one.
Procedure (5-7 minutes)
highlighting (5-7 minutes) • to highlight comparing between two objects
As the context has already been set in the first part of the session, the teacher will ask students to look at the bar chart, read the questions and answer them in pairs: S1. Which is bigger? S2. The tablet is bigger. S3. Which is cheaper? S4. The mobile is cheaper. The teacher will encourage students to answer in complete sentences not only the adjective. e.g. "the tablet is bigger"
