T projects some questions: -What happened to the kangaroo? -Was the man able to get away with the money? -What happened to the woman's house? There will be options a) and b) for each one. Ss will see the questions and the options before the task. T presents a listening task about urban legends. Ss answer the questions.

Controlled Practice (6-8 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

T presents a Google Forms task. T explains the gap-filling activity. T models demonstrated the task by doing the first question with them. Ss do the others individually. T asks them to go to BO rooms to discuss their answers. T presents the answer key and asks if there are any questions with the answers.

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

T is going to send them to BO rooms for 7 minutes. "Talk with your partner about an urban legend from your region". Use the past perfect simple and past perfect continuous tenses to do the activity. Ss go to BO rooms. T hears from some students and acknowledges the chat they had.
