To provide clarification of likes and dislikes in the context of I want to be sure the students know how to express their likes and dislikes with both nouns and verbs, and do so correctly
Procedure (38-51 minutes)
I will discuss some of my likes and dislikes with the students to lay the foundation for the lesson.
I will introduce the target language in this stage via pictures of dancing, Italian food, cooking, reading and football.
I will have the student's work in groups to match the target words and pictures. After the matching, I will teach the Ss how to properly pronounce the target words. Asking if they are nouns or verbs
I will show how we use nouns and verbs after saying "I love, like etc." by showing them how to use nouns, or verbs with "to" or adding "ing". Then I will quiz them by checking their knowledge of target words and proper usage in sentences
They can use the target language and use of likes and dislikes with their personal likes and dislikes
